Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kidepo valley national park

You’ll wake up very early in the morning at around 5:00am East African time and set off with your driver guide from your Hotel to Kidepo Valley national park. It takes about 11 hours to arrive at the park and you’ll have lunch enroute. It is a tiresome but adventurous journey for tourists who love road trips and the wilderness.

Dinner and overnight at Apoka safari lodge (luxury)/Nga’Moru Wilderness camp (midrange)/Adere safari lodge (budget)

Day 2: Morning game drive and evening game drive

You’ll wake up to an early breakfast, and then drive out to the plains where you’ll watch some of the game of the park. Ostriches are one of the birds often seen in the park even on game drives. You’ll not miss to see the beautiful sunrise and stunning views of mountains in the background.

Later on in the evening, you’ll have another game drive to increase chances of seeing more animals and then return to the lodge for the overnight. Dinner and overnight at Apoka safari lodge (luxury)/Nga’Moru Wilderness camp (midrange)/Adere safari lodge (budget)

Day 3: Transfer from Kidepo

This is the last day of the tour and you’ll check out very early after having breakfast and check out of the park. You’ll pass through towns like Gulu, and probably have lunch in Kitgum, then proceed to Kampala where you’ll arrive in the evening. The driver will drop you at the airport to catch your flight or at any other agreed place in Kampala or Entebbe.
