Chameleon Hill lodge has buildings of different colors, they are constructed in a unique way that you will not find anywhere else in east Africa. The lodge is situated on an outstanding site that offers stunning views of Lake Mutanda, the numerous hills of the southwestern part of Uganda and the Virunga volcanoes.
Guests staying at Chameleon Hill lodge are at an advantage to carry out several activities in both Bwindi impenetrable national park and Mgahinga national park and other areas, activities to do include gorilla trekking in Bwindi or Mgahinga national parks, the Batwa trail experience in Mgahinga, golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga, the Batwa experience in Bwindi national park, Canoeing at Lake Mutanda, trekking Mutanda islands, biking and community walks in any of the two areas.
Different local and international dishes are prepared at the restaurant including homemade muesli, fresh fruits and vegetables picked from their very own organic garden. The bar has many kinds of drinks including water, soda and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
The lodge has 10 spacious and comfortable chalets that will make you enjoy every moment of the jungle. Each chalet has its own private bathroom with the best showers. The prices are friendly and services are worth. They provide accommodation based on bed and breakfast, half board and full board. The dinning and lounge are spacious as well.

Getting there
By road, it takes about 10 hours from Kampala or Entebbe international airport to Kisoro town and an extra one hour to drive from Kisoro town to Chameleon Hill lodge. Alternatively, you can fly in to Kigali international airport and connect to the lodge by road and this takes about 6 hours.
By flight, you can communicate to us in advance so that we shall book for your flight with Aerolink which conducts daily flights to Kisoro town and then connect to the lodge. It takes about one and a half hours to fly from Entebbe international airport or Kajjansi to Kisoro town and about one hour to drive from Kisoro town to the lodge.
