Game drives are conducted in the morning and in the evening. The Victoria Nile divides Murchison falls national park into northern and southern sides and the northern has a wider variety of animals in the savannah plains compared to the southern side. Places in the northern side where the game drives are conducted include the Buligi track, Albert track, Victoria track and around Nyamsiki cliff. The northern side is recommended for game drives and some of the animals there are lions, leopards, Jackson’s hartebeest, Uganda kobs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, waterbucks and Oribi among others. Mammals such as giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, Uganda kobs and elephants are commonly seen where as predators such as lions, leopards, hyena are occasionally seen due to their nature. Murchison Falls national park however remains the destination where you have higher chances of spotting the predators than in any other national park in Uganda.
