Gift of nature lodge is located in Ruhija area of bwindi in Kabale district. It is one of the best budget accommodation facilities in the area for travelers on their gorilla safari. Bwindi impenetrable national park is the world’s finest mountain gorilla trekking destination with almost half of the total population of mountain gorillas remaining in the world. Ruhija sector has gorilla families such as Oruzogo, Bitukura and Kyaguliro.

Gift of nature lodge is a very comfortable place because of the cool environment favorable for a good relaxation after tiresome activities during the day. It has caring, friendly and well trained staffs.

The lodge has a total of 8 self-contained accommodation rooms in different categories; single, double and twin rooms. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and warm and cold water for their guests. These rooms have a touch of the African traditional style.

The restaurant is spacious as well and serves local and international meals.

Getting there

Gift of nature lodge is located in Kabale Ruhija sub-county-Mburameizi. Ruhija area is in the north eastern part of Bwindi impenetrable national park and can be accessed by both road and air transport.

By road transport

From Kampala or Entebbe to Ruhija area and to the lodge, it takes about 9 hours. From Kigali, it takes about 7 hours.

By air

Daily flights are operated by Aerolink from Entebbe to Kihihi. The flight takes one hour and a half to Kihihi airstrip form where you are picked up and transferred to the lodge by road. It takes about one hour and a half from the airstrip to the lodge by road.
