Mweya safari lodge is a luxury accommodation facility located at Mweya peninsula, about 55km from Kasese town by road. Mweya peninsula lies within Queen Elizabeth national park and most of the area is surrounded by the water of Kazinga channel and Lake Edward leaving a small land that connects to the main land. Mweya can be accessed through Kabatoro gate or Katunguru gate which takes you along Kazinga channel till you arrive at the peninsula.

Mweya safari lodge overlooks the natural fresh waters of Kazinga channel which is a habitat for a large number of hippos and also attracts other big game that are watched while relaxing at the lodge. It also offers spectacular views of the magnificent Rwenzori ranges on one side and Lake Edward on the other side.
