South Africa Weather – The climate of South Africa is determined by its location. It is bordered by the oceans of Atlantic and Indian on the right and left respectively. It has varied climate of Mediterranean climate in the south west, arid climate, a mild climate seen at the south and east coast, temperate climate around the centre of the plateau and a desert climate in some parts of the northwest. South Africa has a classic weather of the Southern Hemisphere, where the days are sunny while the nights are cold. Temperature varies according to the movement of the high pressure belt area. Places with the lowest temperatures record seventeen degrees celicious and places with very high temperatures register more than forty degrees celicious. The different provinces of South Africa are characterized with different climatic conditions.
