Programme for the Excursion- 1 day tour of Kampala city

An early breakfast will be followed by a pick up from your place of residence in Kampala or Entebbe by the driver guide. He will briefly tell you about Kampala and the destinations. You will first visit Namugongo Martyr’s Shrine which exists to always remember the Christian martyr’s who were burnt alive. The order for their burning came from the late King Mwanga Basamula of Buganda Kingdom. Their day is celebrated on 6th June every year.

The next destination is Bahai temple on Kikayi hill then to the Uganda museum and Makerere University gallery. You will go to Makerere guest house for lunch thereafter drive to Kasubi tombs where fallen kings of Buganda kingdom are buried. Bulange in Mengo and Kabaka’s lake, one of the oldest mosques in Uganda-Kibuli mosque and Lubaga Catholic church won’t miss be missed on our tour.
