Day 1; Arrival & Kampala city tour.

Upon arrival at Entebbe international Airport, you will be met by our company representative who will brief you about your upcoming safari and then transfer to the lodge in Kampala. If you arrive with an early flight, you can opt to go for a Kampala city tour.

 Day 2: Kampala to Murchison falls, Rhino tracking at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, you will drive to Murchison falls national park. Stop over at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking. The Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is home to the remaining Rhino population in Uganda having gone extinct in other parks.  Later have lunch at Kabalega Dinners, then proceed to Murchison falls where you will enter through Kichumbanyobo gate. Paara covers a distance of about 85km from Masindi town by the shortest route. You will visit the top of the falls and then proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Game drive and launch cruise

You will enjoy early morning breakfast and then go for a game drive where you may spot various animal species like elephants, giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs among others. In the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on the park’s main tourist attraction the unique Murchison Falls as well as the River Nile with its streaming hippo and serried ranges of crocodile along the sandbanks, as well as large numbers of different species getting down to drink & bathe. Dinner and overnight as above. 

Day 4: Murchison – Kibale National Park 

You will have breakfast and then transfer to Kibale national park. This is a full day drive and you will have lunch en-route. Dinner and overnight stay at your preferred lodge.

Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and afternoon transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park 

After breakfast, you will go for chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale’s 795km2 National Park contains one of the most beautiful and with the most varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda.

This is place to a number of forest wildlife, most especially 13 species of primate coupled with chimpanzees. After chimpanzee tracking, you will have lunch and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will check-in to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Game drive and launch cruise Queen Elizabeth national park 

You will go for an early morning a game drive in the Kasenyi sector, you may spot various animals like the elephants, Uganda kobs, leopards among others on this best Uganda safari. Return to the lodge for late breakfast and in the afternoon, you will go for a launch cruise on Kazinga Channel where you will spot various water animals like Hippos and crocodiles, the cruise will also enrich you with various water birds. Dinner and overnight as above 

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi via ishasha sector

After an early morning breakfast, transfer from Queen Elizabeth national park to Bwindi passing through the Ishasha sector popular for the tree climbing lions. You will enjoy your lunch enroute at Kihihi. Continue with your drive to Bwindi and check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking – Bwindi and afternoon batwa community walk 

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the Park headquarters for registration and joining others for a gorilla trekking briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour. Once this is done, you will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you from half an hour to three quarters of the day.

The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. On your trek, you are likely to spot other primates, birds and rare tree species. After finding the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them before trekking back to the Park headquarter.

This is indeed an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures. You will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and thus contributing to the conservation of mountain gorillas. Later in the afternoon you will go for a batwa community walk in which you will interact with the indigenous people who lived in the Bwindi forests before it was gazetted as a national park. You will learn about their way of life and can have an opportunity to do some shopping at the gift shops in the area. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge as above.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and boat ride

After an early morning breakfast, transfer to lake Bunyonyi Uganda’s deepest and most beautiful lake. On arrival, proceed to your lodge for check-in and lunch. Later in the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on lake bunyonyi in which you will visit several islands including the punishment island.

Day 10: Departure

After an early morning breakfast, embark on your journey back to Kampala / Entebbe international airport. You will have your lunch in Mbarara and later stop over at the equator to take some photos. The equator is the point where earth is divided into northern and southern hemisphere and sits at latitude zero degrees. Continue to Kampala where you will be dropped off at your hotel or to Entebbe international airport for your scheduled late night flight.
