The lodge is a luxury facility that offers excellent facilities and services. Virunga lodge is strategically located within the ridges of town antagonistic rivers such as river Burera and Ruhondo thus offers incredible scenic views of these beautiful rivers to all guest stay at lodge. It is an hour’s drive to volcanoes national park headquarters and offers one of awesome camping areas to guests who are interested in camping.
The lodge has about 10 accommodation rooms which comprise of two deluxe bands, it has two twin rooms and six doubles with a good refined interior. All accommodation rooms have private bathrooms with hot and cold showers as well as free toiletries, a fire point with in the room. The deluxe Bandas have a breathtaking leaving room they are recommended for couples and honeymooners.
The lodge offers full board accommodations; there is a fulltime free Wi-Fi service, guest laundry service at an extra cost, a complete massage spa. All rooms have power sockets; a hand hair dryer however there is no air conditioners in the rooms.
The restaurant serves, barbecue buffets for lunch, dinner, a free continental breakfast as well as an Ala carte menu option where you choose any food item of your choice. There is free room service served by the staff of the lodge and a 24 hour front desk staff ready to offer you a service.
