Getting to Jinja

The driver guide will pick you from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and drive on Jinja road through Mukono to Mabira where you may stop for a forest walk if you have 2 days for you trip but this may be impossible if you are making a return journey. From Mabira, the next place is Lugazi where you’ll see large plantations of sugarcane on both sides. It takes about 2 hours to drive from Kampala to Jinja.
